We have 2 workshops coming up for our summer Henna U Extension Classes.  Our Simply "Henna 101" and "Henna Technique: Line Quality" are both appropriate for beginning henna artists.  You can take one or both, and if you have never used henna before you need to take the "Henna 101" workshop before the "Line Quality" workshop.

Payment must be made before workshops.

Edgewater Store Closing
Moving on up...to the East side...
we finally have a piece of the p-ah-ah-ah-eye!

We have have officially overgrown our current digs and are moving down the street!

Thanks to you, Beachcombers has grown, and we are bursting at the seams.  Our current location is too small, so we are moving to a new larger location.  With triple the space, it means more product, more selection, bigger classes, a better Beachcombers! 

Saturday, April 20th is the last day at our little boutique in College Park. Though we are closing the boutique, you will still be able to have henna done by Jody, by appointment at our new location.  We don’t have a retail store at our new location, but we’ll offer order pick-up by appointment. You can find us at 8503 Forest City Rd, just 5 miles from our current location after May 1^st.

For our online customers, there are NO delays or changes in shipping or shopping online.

Stop by our current College Park boutique for a last farewell before April 20!

If you remember our epic shopping parties before we opened the boutique, you'll be happy to know that we plan to revive that tradition at our Forest City Rd location.  We will announce our first party after we are settled in.

Zoe's Belly Dance Flow Drills
Fluid belly dance, no hemming and hawing but with plenty of yoga and pilates. You will drill and sweat.  The movement will sink into your body to be taken with you at the end of a very intense 3 hours of dance only Zoe can dish up.

Expect new and creative drills that you can take home for your own personal practice. All aspects of movement will be touched on from the inside out, from head to hips, encouraging use of breath, energy, and connection. My wish is to impart a solid foundation of dance movement with high energy drills and to develop strong, versatile dancers that can intelligently handle any belly dance style.

FREE Awareness Henna!
January is Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention month, and the annual Break These Chains event is January 28 at Lake Eola.

Anytime in January, stop in the store and ask for a FREE Awareness henna tattoo. 

The free henna tattoo is the barbed wire across the hand logo.  You can have it on the top of your hand or the palm of your hand.  The idea is to get people to ask questions about it, thus raising awareness of Human Trafficking which is happening right here in Florida.

The Awareness henna tattoo is free.  All other henna is charged as normal.

You don't have to be a fantastic henna artist, but you do need to have a good grasp of henna including basics and safety.  I'll be teaching you to become a fantastic henna artist!

We all know about Black Friday right?  It's the crazy shopping day on the Friday after Thanksgiving.  Love it or hate it, we all know it. 

As a small shop owner, let me tell you, NO ONE shops small independent businesses on Black Friday.  If fact, there is so little business at small shops like ours on Black Friday, that most small businesses are closed that day (including us!).

College Park's 10th Annual JazzFest!

College Park's annual JazzFest is nearly here and bigger and better than ever!  Bring a blanket or lawn chair and donate $5 per adult, or spring for a linen-covered table for 10 for only $250!  All proceeds go to the College Park Partnership to help pay for this fantastic event and $2 of every ticket goes to a local school organization, team or non-profit organization in College Park.

As always, Beachcombers Bazaar will be open for business and we'll have some GREAT henna tattoo specials! 

There are three stages this year with music from Jackie Jones, The Cook Trio, Shak Nasti, Bracher Brown, Chuck Magid and more.   Seating is on a first come first served basis with lawn chairs, etc. but round tables for 10, plus chairs will be available at only $250. Call 407-579-8228 for details.  Located in Downtown College Park on Edgewater Dr. between Smith and Bryn Mawr Streets, JazzFest has become one of Central Florida's most popular social events of the year.
